Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Program Manager in Operations to own cross-functional program delivery across manufacturing, hardware NPI, and supply chain. The role emphasizes execution, risk management, and collaboration to support ramp readiness and supplier transitions.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Excel, and will thrive in a fast-moving production ramp environment with strong communication skills and self-direction.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of program, project, or operations coordination experience in manufacturing, hardware, supply chain, or a cross-functional operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to run effective meetings and drive action items to closure across teams you do not manage.
• Working proficiency with Jira and Confluence or equivalent tools.
• Strong Excel/Smartsheet skills.
• Clear, concise written communication, including status reports, meeting summaries, and executive-ready summaries.
• Organized, self-directed, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving production ramp environment.
• Bonus: Experience in a hardware NPI or production ramp environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with quality systems or regulatory/product compliance processes.
• Bonus: Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and basic supply chain planning concepts.
• Bonus: CAPM or Agile certification.
• Bonus: Experience building dashboards or light automation using Jira filters/JQL, Smartsheet formulas, or Excel Power Query.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own the programmatic gap across Operations for deployment of next-gen robot.
• Lead weekly deliverable check-ins with Supply Chain, Tech Ops, and Manufacturing.
• Track commitments, risks, and cross-team actions through closure.
• Serve as workstream PM within production ramp readiness, capacity expansion, and supplier transitions.
• Administer and improve PM toolchain (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Excel).
• Prepare monthly Operations Program Review pack with portfolio health metrics and escalation summaries.
• Surface risks early and drive follow-through on review decisions.
• Uphold the PM framework of single intake, written status, and one source of truth.

Job description

• Own the programmatic gap across Operations, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Quality, to support deployment of Digit's next-generation robot
• Report to the Staff Technical Program Manager, Operations
• Run Operations execution work by facilitating weekly deliverable check-ins with Supply Chain, Tech Ops, and Manufacturing
• Track commitments, risks, and cross-team actions through closure
• Serve as workstream program manager within strategic programs such as production ramp readiness, capacity expansion, and supplier transitions
• Administer and continuously improve the PM toolchain, including Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Excel
• Prepare the monthly Operations Program Review pack with portfolio health metrics, exception analysis, and escalation summaries
• Surface risks early, elevate with specific asks, and drive follow-through on review decisions
• Uphold and help functional teams adopt the program management framework of single intake, written status, and one source of truth
