Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a manufacturing technician to work on electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tasks including cables, prototypes, and production assemblies. You will work from schematics, drawings and models, performing tests and reporting data.

Responsibilities include calibration checks, equipment modifications, and repairs to test rigs and prototypes, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Work from schematics, engineering drawings and models, and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment and conduct tests, reporting data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration checks and make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Modify/repair test equipment and prototypes according to drawings and specifications.
• Perform duties in a safe and compliant manner and apprise supervision of issues.

• Operate equipment and test assets as part of manufacturing of cables, prototypes, and assemblies.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings to support engineering liaison.
• Conduct calibration checks and document results.
• Modify or repair test equipment and prototypes per specifications.
• Ensure safety and compliance; communicate issues affecting the business.

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive manufacturing of cables, prototypes, and production assemblies; repairing field and lab assets; and manufacturing initial builds working with Engineering. Candidates should be able to work from schematics, engineering drawings and models, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Candidate shall modify/repair test equipment and prototypes according to drawing, specifications, or engineering liaison. Candidate is responsible for performing all assigned duties in a safe and compliant manner and apprising supervision of all issues that could impact our business.
