Job summary

Empire Technical Fabrication is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of fabrication and scenic art projects for Broadway, Off-Broadway, tours, TV, and film. The role emphasizes initiative, learning, collaboration, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings and navigate AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, SharePoint, and the standard Microsoft Suite.
• Strong understanding of scenic construction and automation.
• Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a high-pressure environment with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and collaborative team member.
• Willingness to work without sponsorship in the US.

Responsibilities

• Bidding/ portfolio management: pricing, prioritizing portfolio, tracking costs.
• Production management: coordinating resources between projects and interfacing with all departments.
• Project management: documentation, communications, quality control, schedule and scope management.
• Stock/ inventory management: tracking stock needs, costs, reporting.
• Purchasing management: procurement and budget tracking.
• Trucking/ logistics management: scheduling and documentation for trucking needs.
• Process management and administration tasks.
