Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a Remote Technical Product Owner, Mortgage for a full-time role. The position requires a highly skilled Product Owner with mortgage industry knowledge. Responsibilities include managing the backlog, removing roadblocks, and coordinating with Dev, QA, Business Analysts, and Stakeholders. The Product Owner will lead scrum ceremonies, manage the backlog, and serve as the main contact for team commitments.

1. Lead and manage scrum ceremonies to ensure team success.
2. Define and manage team accountability.
3. Support and collaborate with BAs, Developers, and QA teams.
4. Define features for user story creation.
5. Identify and remove workflow blockers.
6. Act as the liaison between business and development teams.
7. Escalate issues as needed.
8. Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
9. Provide expertise on the involved products and systems.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
2. 5-7 years in Mortgage Industry, with experience in mortgage servicing and origination preferred.
3. Proven experience as a Product Owner, familiarity with Jira.
4. Strong understanding of mortgage systems and workflows.
5. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively and proactively.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Certifications like CSPO or PSPO.
2. Experience with mortgage systems and regulatory compliance.
3. API experience is highly desirable.
