Job summary

OneView Commerce is seeking a Technical Product Owner with a DevOps background to own the flow of work into the DevSecOps team. The role focuses on prioritization, risk-aware decision making, and shaping the Platform Engineering roadmap.

You will collaborate with security, automation, and engineering teams to define clear requirements and acceptance criteria. You will translate needs into concrete stories, defend prioritization with evidence, and drive the work across a remote-first, globally

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Product Owner or equivalent backlog owner.
• 3+ years hands-on in DevOps, security operations, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, IaC, scripting, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices, access control, and pipeline guardrails.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own the intake path into the DevSecOps team and qualify requests with outcome, impact, dependencies, and due dates.
• Rank and communicate backlog priorities and roadmap items with explicit trade-offs.
• Propose roadmap improvements to leadership with defined problem scope and effort.
• Translate the IDP and Platform Engineering roadmap into deliverable backlog items.
• Limit work in progress and surface the cost of interruptions.
• Write concrete platform, automation, and security requirements as testable stories.
• Own unplanned demand and ensure alignment with ongoing priorities.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams and external vendors.
• Report on flow metrics to justify capacity and automation needs.
