Henkel, headquartered in Stamford, CT, seeks a data analytics product owner to lead the vision, backlog and strategy for data tools and analytics initiatives. You will coordinate with data engineering and business stakeholders to define requirements, ensure alignment with platform roadmaps and drive adoption of data products across teams.

The role emphasizes strong technical chops in Python, Databricks and Azure, plus agile leadership and stakeholder communication to deliver high-value analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 7 years experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for data products, tools, and analytics initiatives, prioritizing based on business value, user needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Gather and translate requirements from internal and external stakeholders into clear product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Stay current on data technologies (BI tools, data warehouses, cloud ecosystems) and market trends to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Steer ongoing operations support for existing products – maintenance and enhancements.
  • Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to define project goals, technical requirements, and success metrics.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technical plans.
  • Collaborate with training, sales, and customer success teams to drive adoption and communicate the value of data tools to end users.

What you´ll do
  • Strong technical background and experience in Data and Analytics product implementations
  • Represents the voice of the customer
  • Helps triage and resolves technical issues with impacted Analytics use cases
  • Creates, manages and shares the product vision, product strategy and product roadmap
  • Ensures transparency of requirements and accounts for product success
  • Responsible for managing the Product Backlog
  • Ensures a holistic view on the product, which includes also Legal, data office and Henkel IT standards

    • Product Ownership & Strategy

    • Cross Functional Collaboration
      • Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to define project goals, technical requirements, and success metrics.
      • Act as a bridge between technical and non technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technical plans.
      • Collaborate with training, sales, and customer success teams to drive adoption and communicate the value of data tools to end users.
    • Data Engineering & Architecture Leadership
      • Manage end to end execution of data engineering and analytics projects, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
      • Recommend and design appropriate data architectures considering use cases, data volume, latency, scalability, performance, and integration requirements.
      • Oversee development of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data warehousing solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in modeling and optimization.
      • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies across all data systems and processes.
      • Apply strong technical expertise in Python, Databricks, and Azure throughout solution design and implementation.
    • Agile Delivery & Project Management
      • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
      • Use tools such as Azure DevOps to track progress, manage work, and ensure high quality, on-time delivery of analytics solutions and data products.
      • Coordinate release planning to align development teams and ensure smooth deployment cycles

The salary rangefor this role is $130,000.00 and $150,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimumand maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at thetime of posting.In addition to base salary, this position may be eligiblefor incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. TheCompany also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actualcompensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills,experience, education, training, and work location.
