Job summary

Toyota Financial Services seeks a Technical Product Owner to lead cloud networking initiatives across AWS and on‑prem environments. You will drive the development of secure, scalable hybrid network solutions and enable engineering teams through clear requirements and agile prioritization.

In this role you will champion IaC, mentor teams on routing/NAT strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technology implementations, product management, or technical leadership focused on cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Proven experience delivering hybrid AWS and on‑premises network security solutions.
• Expert knowledge of AWS networking services and cloud platform capabilities and limitations.
• Strong foundation in IaC principles and methodologies.
• Experience with routing, NAT, access‑list configuration, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire product lifecycle for hybrid AWS and on‑premises network security solutions from vision to iteration.
• Gather requirements with engineering and stakeholders and prioritize features for security and scalability.
• Drive roadmap and backlog refinement using Agile methodologies for timely delivery.
• Design and implement hybrid cloud networking including AWS VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables, CloudWAN, WAF, CloudFront, and on‑premise integration.
• Champion IaC and automation to enable repeatable deployments.
• Provide guidance on routing, NAT, and network security technologies including Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Drive cloud-native architecture adoption and security best practices across networking services.
• Define KPIs and use data-driven insights to inform prioritization.
• Communicate vision and progress to technical teams and leadership.
• Foster vendor relationships to ensure delivery of platform capabilities and integrations.

The TFS Enterprise Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Owner to lead our Cloud Networking initiatives. In this role, you will drive the development and evolution of scalable, secure hybrid cloud network security solutions spanning AWS and on‑premises environments. You will empower engineering teams and support Toyota Financial Services’ ongoing digital transformation by delivering innovative cloud networking products.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and manage the entire product lifecycle for hybrid AWS and on‑premises network security solutions, from vision and strategy through design, development, release, and iteration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to gather technical requirements and prioritize features that optimize cloud network security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Drive roadmap and backlog refinement using agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high‑value features aligned with business goals.
• Lead the design and implementation of hybrid cloud networking solutions including AWS VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables, CloudWAN, WAF, CloudFront, and on‑premises network integration.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation best practices to enable repeatable, scalable network deployments.
• Provide expert guidance on routing, NAT, access‑list configuration, and network security technologies including Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Drive adoption of cloud‑native architecture patterns and security best practices across networking services.
• Define and track KPIs to measure product performance, security posture, and customer satisfaction; use data‑driven insights to inform prioritization.
• Communicate product vision and progress effectively to technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Foster strong vendor and partner relationships to ensure successful delivery of key platform capabilities and integrations.
• Support migration strategies for moving systems securely to cloud environments.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of relevant experience in technology implementations, product management, or technical leadership with a focus on cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.

• Expert knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables, CloudWAN, WAF, CloudFront) and commercial cloud platform capabilities and limitations.
• Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and methodologies.
• Experience with routing, NAT, access‑list configuration, and network security technologies such as Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to multi‑disciplined project teams for service delivery.
• Deep understanding of cloud migration strategies and challenges.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Added bonus: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; AWS Associate‑level certification or higher; 3+ years of experience building and scaling hybrid cloud networking platforms or cloud‑native applications; demonstrated experience architecting large‑scale, mission‑critical cloud networking solutions for enterprises.
