Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Technical Product Owner to bridge business goals and technology, delivering digital products that create value for customers. You will partner with product, engineering, and architecture teams to define technical priorities and guide product development.

This role focuses on modern cloud technologies, AWS, and scalable, reliable solutions. You will lead technical initiatives, participate in sprint planning, and influence architecture decisions across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, Business, Finance or related field.
• 8+ years in information technology with software or application development and product ownership.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS, C#, Python, Git/GitHub, SQL, Terraform, CI/CD, DevOps, RESTful APIs, React/React Native, and monitoring.
• Experience delivering digital products in Agile environments.
• Experience balancing tech debt and platform modernization with customer-facing enhancements.
• Strong communication translating technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define technical solutions with stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Create and refine technical epics, user stories, and non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical direction and clarify architecture, design, and implementation decisions.
• Prioritize backlogs with Product Owners and balance enhancements with investments.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement and releases by removing roadblocks.
• Drive technical roadmap for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Advise teams on modern development practices and cloud technologies.
