Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, Business, Finance or related field.
• 8+ years in information technology with software or application development and product ownership.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS, C#, Python, Git/GitHub, SQL, Terraform, CI/CD, DevOps, RESTful APIs, React/React Native, and monitoring.
• Experience delivering digital products in Agile environments.
• Experience balancing tech debt and platform modernization with customer-facing enhancements.
• Strong communication translating technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine technical epics, user stories, and non-functional requirements.

Role Summary

As a Technical Product Owner, you'll bridge the gap between business goals and technology solutions, helping deliver innovative digital products that create value for customers. You'll partner with product, engineering, and architecture teams to define technical priorities, guide product development, and influence strategic technology decisions. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical initiatives while growing your expertise across modern cloud technologies and digital product delivery.

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define technical solutions that support business objectives.
• Lead the creation and refinement of technical epics, user stories, and non-functional requirements to drive product delivery.
• Guide engineering teams by providing technical direction and clarifying architecture, design, and implementation decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and balance functional enhancements with technical investments.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product releases by removing technical roadblocks and ensuring delivery readiness.
• Drive execution of the technical product roadmap while identifying opportunities to improve scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Advise cross-functional teams on modern development practices, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in information technology, including software or application development and product ownership.
• 3+ years of experience providing technical leadership or leading cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS cloud services, C#, Python, Git/GitHub, SQL and relational databases, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, RESTful APIs, automated testing, React or React Native, and production monitoring and support.
• Preferred Experience delivering digital products in an Agile environment.
• Experience balancing technical debt, platform modernization, and customer‑facing enhancements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.

Salary

$100,590.00 - $172,440.00 per year
