Our Fortune 15 Health Services clients is looking for a dynamic Product Owner to join their Pharmacy team to support critical initiatives within the Specialty Pharmacy organization. This role is a replacement position within IT–Specialty and plays a key part in ensuring technology products, systems, and services align.
As a Product Owner / Agile Product Management Senior Advisor, you will leverage strong technical and operational expertise to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and successfully drive initiatives from concept through delivery. You will serve as a strategic liaison between business and technology partners, ensuring priorities are aligned, timelines are met, and outcomes support both operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide business direction and product leadership for cross-functional, operational, strategic, and tactical initiatives within the Specialty Pharmacy area.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are completed on time.
- Gather and analyze data, develop queries, document business and technical requirements, and track action items using project plans and agile tools.
- Own initiative execution, proactively communicating risks, roadblocks, and changing priorities to leadership.
- Partner with technology teams to manage backlogs, support issue resolution, and remove product impediments.
- Assist in defining product strategy and maintaining a product roadmap aligned to business objectives.
- Monitor KPIs, trends, and metrics associated with assigned products or capabilities, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct financial analysis in partnership with resource management teams and track savings, margins, and benefits.
- Collaborate with analytics and technology partners to develop new data sources and performance metrics.
- Lead large and complex technology initiatives and support others in requirements gathering and documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, technology, or product management; development experience preferred.
- Experience in pharmacy finance, billing, or collections strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working in agile environments and using tools such as Jira or Rally.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while influencing across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
