Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Underground Products to drive the product roadmap, collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales, and support lifecycle management of MV underground switching lines.

You will analyze market trends, support NPD/CMR processes, and provide technical expertise for bids and customer engagements while aiming to grow revenue and margin. This role offers visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a sales, application, or product engineering role minimum.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE or BSME) required.
• Strong technical aptitude with engineered-to-order or complex products.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of the product line’s strategic direction, portfolio management, and roadmap planning.
• Support market research with trends and voice of customer insights to inform product initiatives.
• Assist in New Product Development (NPD) and Change Management (CMR) processes to launch/enhance products.
• Monitor new product launches, track performance, and refine internal processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop sales tools, training, and go-to-market materials.
• Support sales by providing technical expertise, participating in bid strategies, and supporting customer needs.
