Job summary

Starbucks Corporation’s Digital Product Management team is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the execution of digital product initiatives. You will translate customer experience into product requirements and manage technology solution design and delivery activities.

You will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, designers, engineering, and quality teams to deliver exciting new innovations for Starbucks customers across our digital products.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in analytics, data science, or tech delivering complex products.
• Experience building web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to manage priorities.
• Prior programming experience a plus.

Job Summary and Mission:

The Starbucks Digital Product Management team is looking for a Technical Product Manager to provide leadership over the execution of digital product initiatives. The Technical Product Manager w/ill translate Customer Experience into product requirements and manage technology solution design and delivery activities.

This role will be working cross-functionally with business stakeholders, designers, engineering, and quality, to deliver exciting new innovations for Starbucks customers on our digital products.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Driving definition of user, business, and technical criteria for digital product solutions
• Translating customer experience into product requirements
• Facilitating high level solution design across teams and vendors as needed
• Identifying, documenting, and developing planning around dependencies and constraints
• Gathering, definition of, and documentation of requirements & acceptance criteria for design and development prototyping, engineering, and testing
• Manage and drive communication of product delivery plan and roadmap
• Be able to understand, represent and effectively engage and communicate goals and objectives across business and technology

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industry experience in an analytics, data science or technology environment with a record of successfully delivering complex products
• Recent experience in building applications for web and/or mobile
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to quickly master new systems and/or processes, capacity to stay organized while managing competing priorities
• Prior programming experience a plus
