Qualifications

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Product Manager (Spectrum Dominance) to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will shape technical product direction for advanced wireless and mission-critical capabilities that support demanding defense and communications use cases. You will translate complex operational needs into clear product requirements, work closely with R&D and engineering teams, and help deliver software and firmware solutions that integrate effectively with existing hardware platforms. The position also partners across commercial teams to support adoption and drive business growth in a highly specialized environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Translate Department of Defense mission requirements and signal analysis concepts into structured user stories.
• Partner with R&D to convert advanced low-probability-of-intercept and low-probability-of-detection techniques into user-friendly features.
• Own the software and firmware backlog for advanced spectrum capabilities.
• Ensure seamless integration of advanced waveforms with existing hardware platforms.
• Conduct sprint planning and backlog grooming to maintain a rapid delivery pipeline.
• Capture operational feedback to evolve user stories and improve software solutions.
• Collaborate with sales to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of technical product management or systems engineering experience in defense, aerospace, or wireless communications.
• Strong knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, RF systems, and software-defined radios.
• Experience translating complex algorithms and military use cases into actionable software requirements.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and meet strict timelines.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.
