Job summary

RevolutionParts is hiring a Technical Product Manager to own platform health, search, and reliability. This hybrid Tempe-based role partners with engineering to balance architecture decisions with business impact, ensuring fast, reliable search and a scalable eCommerce platform.

You will define non-functional requirements, track KPIs, and drive cross-functional initiatives with data-driven prioritisation, shaping how customers find and buy parts on our marketplace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM experience partnering with engineering on platform, infrastructure, or search initiatives.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production code.
• Demonstrated experience owning a technical roadmap against KPIs (latency, uptime, conversion).
• Comfort defining functional and non-functional requirements for backend-focused work.
• Ability to query databases and retrieve data via REST APIs without a UI.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and AWS.
• Experience navigating cloud cost/performance tradeoffs in a high-traffic eCommerce context.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for platform health, search relevance, and site performance, aligning with feature roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering on architecture decisions and tradeoffs, translating infrastructure investments into business impact.
• Define and track performance metrics (latency, uptime, conversion) and tie them to business outcomes.
• Translate constraints into clear, prioritised technical requirements for leadership.
• Drive discovery and requirements for search and platform improvements with data validation.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies across engineering, data, and other product teams.
