Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior product leader to own the mobile roadmap for iOS and Android, overseeing a distributed team of contract engineers and guiding cross-functional delivery. You’ll shape product strategy, collaborate with marketing and hardware teams, and ensure a secure, scalable mobile architecture.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in mobile apps, plus hands-on Swift/Kotlin/React Native/Flutter development experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years working directly with mobile applications.
• Hands-on mobile development experience using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.
• Strong understanding of mobile UX/UI principles, agile development practices, and building products around customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile product roadmap, driving strategy and execution across iOS and Android.
• Gather user insights, identify pain points, and turn findings into features and improvements.
• Lead a distributed team of iOS and Android contract engineers, managing sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Collaborate with marketing, hardware engineering, and customer support for a cohesive product experience.
• Set mobile architecture direction with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

Job responsibilities

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy and engineering execution. Approximately 75% of the position is focused on traditional product management, including roadmap ownership, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. The remaining 25% is centered on technical leadership, including oversight of the mobile application, code reviews, and pull request reviews.

• Mobile Roadmap: Take ownership of the mobile product roadmap, driving strategy and execution across both iOS and Android.
• Customer & Product Discovery: Gather user insights, identify key pain points, and turn those findings into meaningful product features and improvements.
• Engineering Leadership: Manage a distributed team of iOS and Android contract engineers, leading sprint planning, and stand-ups
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with marketing, hardware engineering, and customer support to ensure a cohesive product experience.
• Mobile Architecture: Set the direction for mobile application architecture with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Integrations: Oversee integrations with backend APIs, connected devices, and external services.
• Release Management: Own mobile release workflows, including App Store and Google Play management and deployment processes.
