Job summary

Taghleef Industries, Inc. in the Americas is seeking a Technical Product Manager – Labels to drive profitable growth and strategy for the Labels portfolio.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, cross-functional leadership, and the drive to translate market needs into differentiated product offerings across R&D, manufacturing, planning, marketing and sales.

Travel up to 30% and a collaboration mindset across a multicultural environment are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; engineering degree preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in product management, technical sales/service, or market development.
  • Knowledge of wrapping around labels is ideal.
  • Strong preference for experience in BOPP films and labels converting applications.
  • Manufacturing experience valued.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with all management levels.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Able to manage priorities.
  • Operate in a multicultural international business environment.
  • Sound decision making and ability to drive innovations.
  • Team building aptitude.
  • Technical learning aptitude.
  • Willingness to travel 30% (mostly domestic and some international).

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Ti functional groups to align with the Americas Labels business strategy.
  • Define and manage a differentiated product portfolio.
  • Align activities between Ti functional groups to ensure customer and market needs are identified and serviced with best value propositions.
  • Drive product development activities with R&D teams, global product teams, manufacturing, applications engineering and planning.
  • Conduct competitive analysis.
  • Support Sales with differentiated product value propositions, training and product positioning.
  • Support Marketing Communications with market messaging and technical data for literature.
  • Oversee product specifications ensuring fitness for make and market.
  • Support product Stewardship with regulatory and quality teams.
  • Coordinate with Quality to ensure product complaints investigations are completed to determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Technical Product Manager – Labels

The Product Manager position i is a key role in the Ti Americas organization, supporting the Labels Business

Team to drive profitable business growth in line with the Ti global labels business strategy. The Product Manager develop segment strategies and provides cross -

functional leadership to improve the value of the label film portfolio target market

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with strong technical knowledge and capability, ideally combined with business and marketing acumen.

Communication and interpersonal skills will be utilized to coordinate with all functions including R&D, applications engineering, planning, manufacturing, marketing, sales, finance, purchasing and most importantly with customers and the market.

Requirements

Minimum college education of a bachelor’s degree. An Engineering Degree (mechanical, chemical, packaging) is preferred.

  • 2 plus years’ experience in product management, technical sales/service, or market development.
  • Knowledge of wrapping around labels is ideal.
  • Strong preference for experience in BOPP films and labels converting applications.
  • Manufacturing experience is also valued.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize market information and recommend actions.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to interface effectively with all levels of management at both the plant and corporate levels.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
