Job summary

CONSTRUCTION SPECIALTIES, INC. is seeking a Technical Product Manager for the Acrovyn Door Systems line within IPS.

You will lead cost-reduction initiatives, drive line extensions, and coordinate with engineering, sales, and operations to optimize the product portfolio. You will partner with IPS product managers to gather customer feedback and translate it into strategy and requirements across the product lifecycle, from ideation to discontinuation.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, industrial design or another technical degree with three to five years related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Proficiency with technical product files such as AutoCad and Inventor (preferred).
• Strong data analysis & interpretation capabilities. Experience with tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Construct Connect, Dodge, etc.
• Proven ability to analyze, prioritize and integrate large amounts of complex information into clear, concise plans.
• Communication – ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex concepts in written and verbal formats. Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Self-motivated, self-starter who is eager to learn.
• Experience with leading projects and working in teams.
• Ability to lead and influence others.
• Willingness to travel an average 10% of the time to connect with third parties.

Responsibilities

• Guides the product strategy by supporting vision, roadmap, and defining requirements.
• Optimizes the business strategy with cost-reduction projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Acts as product expert and liaison with operations to identify cost reductions.
• Represents the customer by gathering market needs and translating them into product design requirements.
• Maintains documentations and monitors advancements in the product arena.
• Drives NPD projects and tracks KPI progress for continuous improvement.
