Job summary

PRINTING United Alliance is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Certifications to own System Certifications and Master Facility Certifications, driving go-to-market strategy and shop-floor credibility. You will guide applicants, coordinate with labs, and grow a certification pipeline while collaborating with Marketing, Standards, and program stakeholders.

You’ll travel about 10% to industry events, represent the programs at Expo and summits, and translate technical needs into

Qualifications

Technical background in printing industry with color management, prepress, digital or production printing.
Ability to explain calibration, compliance and certification requirements clearly.
Willingness to grow into consultative selling; prior sales experience is a plus but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication; explain technical outcomes to varied audiences.
Ability to manage a pipeline and multiple active accounts without losing track.
Entrepreneurial, owning growth and driving opportunities to the right people.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Own the Certification Business (Product & Technical Ownership).
Serve as internal expert for System Certifications and Master Facility Certifications.
Guide candidates and facilities through calibration, compliance, and requirements.
Coordinate with third-party analysis labs for submissions and evaluations.
Communicate outcomes clearly and professionally.
Identify process gaps and collaborate to close them.
Grow the business through consultative sales and outreach.
Build relationships with OEMs, suppliers, printers and grow a pipeline.
Engage in proactive outreach, including cold outreach.
Work with Marketing to develop campaigns, content, and materials.
Represent programs at industry events, including PRINTING United Expo.
Track pipeline activity and support business planning.
Manage certification intake and scheduling from submission to outcome.
Maintain SOPs and documentation; travel ~10% for events.
