Job summary

Society for Science seeks a Technical Product Manager to lead development of complex technology products from concept through launch. You will oversee end-to-end lifecycle, manage AI/ML initiative pipelines, and drive API-based data pathways for platforms with cross-functional teams.

The role reports to the CTO, shaping product strategy and architecture while delivering measurable business impact in a hybrid Washington, DC environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
5+ years as Technical Product Manager or similar role with software projects.
Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and JIRA/Confluence.
Strong understanding of SDLC, API integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Experience with data platforms, LLMs, AI agents, and ML principles.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end lifecycle management from initiation to closure.
Translate requirements between stakeholders and development teams.
Provide architecture and integration guidance for complex systems.
Query databases with SQL and generate business reports.
Define and own the technical product roadmap and API dependencies.
Guide AI/ML products including Generative AI and chatbots.
