RoleOverview

We are seeking aTechnical Product Managerto lead the development of our new application, currently in the planning and development phase for its Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that the product aligns with our strategic goals and delivers exceptional value to our users.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills. They will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and overseeing the product development lifecycle to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Objectives

  • Define Product Vision : Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear and compelling product vision that aligns with company objectives.
  • Develop Roadmap : Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Prioritize Features : Assess and prioritize product features based on user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.

Technical Oversight

  • Translate Requirements : Convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications for the development team.
  • Collaborate with Engineering : Work closely with engineers to ensure technical solutions meet product goals and adhere to best practices.
  • Ensure Quality : Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to deliver a reliable and user-friendly product.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure product alignment with user expectations.
  • Coordinate Teams : Facilitate collaboration between design, development, marketing, and support teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor Progress : Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep development on schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience : 3+ years in product management, with a focus on technical products or applications.
  • Technical Background : Proficiency in software development concepts, with the ability to understand and discuss technical solutions.
  • Project Management : Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
