Technical Product Manager – Platform & Workflows

Position Overview

Sigma360 is seeking a Technical Product Manager to help design, build, and evolve core product workflows across our enterprise risk and screening platform. This is a hands‑on product role focused on translating real business problems into scalable software solutions, working closely with engineering, data, design, and customer‑facing teams. The ideal candidate brings strong product management fundamentals, comfort working with complex enterprise products, and experience operating in Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Discovery & Problem Solving: Partner with stakeholders across Application Development, Customer Success, and Data Engineering to understand user needs and business problems, and translate them into clear product solutions.
  • Requirements & Execution: Break down complex problems into well‑defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements that engineering teams can efficiently implement.
  • Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including stand‑ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives; help maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Use data analysis (SQL, Python, spreadsheets, or similar tools) to evaluate product performance, validate assumptions, and inform prioritization and trade‑offs.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and customer success teams to ensure solutions are feasible, usable, and aligned with customer needs.
  • Workflow & UX Input: Contribute to the design of intuitive workflows and user experiences by providing clear product direction and collaborating with UX/design partners.
  • Customer & Internal Feedback: Support customer escalations and feedback loops, helping identify root causes and translating insights into product improvements.
  • Roadmap Contribution: Own and deliver roadmap initiatives end‑to‑end, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to product leadership.
Qualifications
  • Product Management Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Product Manager (or similar role) working on software products, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments.
  • Agile Experience: Hands‑on experience working within Agile or Scrum teams and delivering software iteratively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong comfort working with data; experience using SQL, Python, spreadsheets, or a combination thereof to analyze datasets and support product decisions.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to engage with engineers on technical concepts, constraints, and trade‑offs, even if not writing production code.
  • Business‑to‑Software Translation: Proven ability to convert ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable software requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with data science concepts, statistical analysis, or modeling is a plus but not required.
Experience
  • Required: 2–5 years of product management experience delivering software in a cross‑functional environment.
  • Nice to Have: Experience working with data‑heavy products, analytics platforms, or workflow‑driven enterprise software. Experience with financial crime compliance or financial services products beneficial, but not required.
Location

This is a hybrid role based in our NYC office or remote within the United States or Europe, with a preference for East Coast time‑zone alignment.

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary (for NYC‑based applicants): $100,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience
  • Equity participation
  • Opportunity to grow with a fast‑scaling, product‑led company
  • Collaborative, low‑ego culture focused on solving hard problems
  • Flexible work arrangements and generous time‑off policies
