Hach, a Veralto company, invites you to join our Loveland, Colorado site as a Technical Product Advisor I. You will deliver world-class service and deepen product knowledge while collaborating with teammates across departments.

This onsite role provides opportunities to contribute to water quality solutions and grow professionally. Your day includes handling technical questions, managing escalations, troubleshooting, and identifying sales opportunities to support up-sell and cross-sell efforts

Qualifications

• Experience with Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Experience in customer service, technical support, field service, or supervisor role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Handle basic incoming technical and customer support questions from internal and external customers with prompt, accurate answers.
• Identify and manage customer escalations and negotiate win-win solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Provide efficient, technical troubleshooting support on testing systems and Hach chemistry methods.
• Act as liaison between Technical Support and cross-functional departments to relay VOC and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify sales opportunities and submit leads to drive up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.

Reporting to the Manager, Technical Support, the Technical Product Advisor I will provide world‑class service and support to all internal and external customers via the contact center. The Technical Advisor will be successful through mentoring and leadership within the department, and by having an advanced understanding of internal systems, products and applications, soft skills, vertical markets and sales lead identification.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Handle basic incoming technical and customer support questions from internal and external customers providing prompt, accurate answers.
• Identify and manage customer escalations and utilize cross‑functional relationships to negotiate ‘win‑win’ solutions.
• Provide efficient, technical troubleshooting support on testing systems and Hach chemistry methods.
• Act as a liaison between Technical Support and all cross‑functional departments to relay Voice of Customer, (VOC), and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify sales opportunities, understand the industries, vertical markets, and products, and submit leads to drive appropriate up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities to the customer.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with MS Office.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, technical support, field service, and/or previous supervisor experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

It would be an asset if you have:

• BA or BS degree preferred
• Experience in one or more of Hach’s key markets (drinking water, wastewater, and industrial) preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Oracle (ERP) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior call center experience

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $24.00 - $27.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
