Technical Printer Support Representative I (Laser)

Overview

Canon ITS is seeking highly skilled, professional, and customer-focused individuals to deliver exceptional technical support. As a Canon Technical Printer Support Representative I, you will respond to inbound customer calls and inquiries, resolving routine and complex laser printer issues with a 'first call resolution' approach, escalating cases when necessary, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Schedule Options

Various shifts available, e.g., Mon - Fri | 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, among others.

Compensation

Hourly salary range: $15.00 - $15.53, plus shift differentials and incentives, in accordance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional technical support via phone, email, and chat
  • Analyze and troubleshoot laser printer issues, recommending solutions
  • Research and resolve customer inquiries using software and network tools
  • Interact efficiently with customers and team members
  • Make business decisions that benefit both the customer and company
  • Document interactions and resolutions accurately
  • Assist customers in making purchases and completing orders on the Canon website
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service or call center experience
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or MAC OS
  • Internet navigation, messaging, and email skills
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills in English
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual environment
