Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Technical Portfolio Manager/Business Architect within PCS to align product vision with business needs across product, business, operations and internal technology teams. You will manage backlog, translate requirements into initiatives, and ensure scalable, end-to-end experiences.

Location: Colorado/Englewood area; 3+ days on-site. Requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and SDLC experience, with familiarity in credit card platforms and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree with five to eight or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong ability to relate business needs to upstream and downstream technologies.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking; able to explain technology risks to non-technical leaders.
• Experience with system development lifecycle, end-to-end testing, and vendor evaluation across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Manage and maintain the Initiative and Feature backlog for assigned area from intake through deployment.
• Understand how the business unit functions, including upstream and downstream tech interactions.
• Refinement to include end-to-end acceptance criteria and risk identification.
