Job summary

COSMO International Fragrances is seeking a Technical Perfumer for our Fort Lauderdale team. You will work with Creative Perfumery and cross-functional partners to adapt and optimize fragrance formulas in response to regulatory requirements, raw material changes, and customer needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on perfumery work with fragrance formulas, requiring strong olfactive judgment and formulation expertise across Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, and Home Fragrance applications.

Responsibilities

• Reformulate and optimize existing fragrance formulas while maintaining their olfactive character and performance.
• Develop formula solutions for regulatory changes, raw material restrictions or discontinuations, supply constraints, and customer requirements.
• Identify and evaluate alternative raw materials and substitutions using technical and olfactive expertise.
• Partner with Creative Perfumers on formula maintenance and technical adaptations, protecting the original creative intent.
• Collaborate with Regulatory on IFRA, REACH, customer-specific, and other evolving compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot fragrance-related quality, production, stability, compatibility, and performance issues.
• Support formula and raw material harmonization and continuity initiatives.
• Provide technical perfumery support across Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, and Home Fragrance applications.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Evaluation, and Commercial teams.
• Participate in technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders when Perfumer expertise is required.

Position Summary

COSMO International Fragrances is seeking an experienced Technical Perfumer to join our Fort Lauderdale team. This role works closely with Creative Perfumery and cross-functional partners to maintain, adapt, and optimize existing fragrance formulas in response to regulatory requirements, raw material changes, supply challenges, performance needs, and customer requirements.

The Technical Perfumer will apply strong olfactive judgment, formulation expertise, and knowledge of natural and synthetic fragrance raw materials to develop technical solutions while preserving the original character and creative intent of a fragrance.

This is a perfumery role rather than a laboratory technician or analytical chemistry position and requires hands‑on experience working directly with fragrance formulas.
