Job summary

Gemini, Inc. is seeking a Technical Pattern Maker to join our Foundry team in Decorah, IA. The role involves reviewing artwork for manufacturability, operating CNC routers, Haas mills, table saws, and 3D printers to fulfill orders, and painting patterns and boxes with spray paints or brushes.

Shift: 2nd, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday. The ideal candidate will have high computer aptitude and keen attention to detail; overtime may be scheduled as needed.

Qualifications

• High computer aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with graphic arts software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses a computer to review artwork for manufacturability; cleans and edits files as needed with graphic arts software.
• Operates machines such as CNC routers, Haas mills, table saws and 3D printers to complete orders.
• Paints patterns and boxes with paints and sealers using a spray gun or brush.
• Work environment is bright and warm around equipment.
• Reports to Plant Manager.

Gemini is currently seeking a Technical Pattern Maker to join our Foundry team in Decorah, IA!

This is a great opportunity to work with a creative team to produce high-quality, custom plaques. Our ideal candidate has a high level computer aptitude and strong attention for detail. The minimum starting pay is $22.88 per hour, taking experience into consideration.

Consistent Schedule:

2nd Shift: 4 10-hour days 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday

• Overtime is scheduled as needed.

A day in the life of a Technical Pattern Maker at Gemini includes:

• Uses a computer to review artwork for manufacturability. Cleans and edits files as necessary with graphic arts software.
