Technical Operations Specialist
Remote Position
6+Month ContractWe are seeking a
Technical Operations Specialist to join the our client our client on a
contract-to-hire basis. This is a remote high-impact role with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. The Technical Operations Specialist monitors the electronic flow of data and manages files processed by internal systems. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues related to enrollment and system file exchanges.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a working understanding of operational workflows across teams
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather, clarify, and validate business requirements
- Ensure successful implementation of new client data and changes to existing workflows
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and correct issues in claims, eligibility, and import/export files
- Coordinate with engineering teams on technical issues, EDI testing, and file updates
- Translate business needs into technical solutions aligned with company objectives
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on task status and issue resolution
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Senior Technical Operations Specialist
Education & Experience- 2+ years of experience in system/data analysis or process improvement
- 1+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Required Skills- Knowledge of healthcare or TPA industries preferred
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Familiarity with ANSI 5010 transactions (837, 835, 834, 270/271) preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proven ability to gather and document business requirements
