Job summary

Lupin Ltd in New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager, Technical Operations at its Somerset facility. You will drive global technical operations initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and advance data-driven process improvements across manufacturing operations.

The role requires a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences or engineering, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred), 5–10 years in process engineering within pharma manufacturing, and PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Process Engineering, or similar Life Science or Engineering degree.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt desirable.
• 5–10 years of process engineering experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Subject matter expert in pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging and testing equipment.
• Experience with solid, liquid, semi-solid and nasal spray dosage forms desirable.
• Experience with project management tools and PMP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement global process improvement program and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze data with statistical tools on key products and processes.
• Lead root cause analysis using lean principles.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Material Mgmt, Engineering, and site leaders on goals and KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities via lean Six Sigma and statistical methods.
• Lead lean activities and mentor employees to drive KPI improvements.
• Diagnose workflow impediments and eliminate wastes in manufacturing and testing.
• Define best practices for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Perform value stream mapping, risk assessment and FMEA; develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Form cross-functional teams and lead GTO initiatives to execution.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders on GTO initiatives.
• Plan timelines, milestones; track progress within budget.
• Organize cross-functional teams to satisfy project requirements.
• Track budget items and reconcile services vs scopes.
• Act as liaison between global manufacturing network for sharing best practices.
