Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Technical Media Manager for the Fort Belvoir-based DTRA PAO contract to bridge production and distribution, maintaining the Digital Asset Library and ensuring metadata accuracy. The role oversees captions, indexing, routing through editorial, OPSEC, and PAO checkpoints; implements analytics and APIs; and designs interactive interfaces while ensuring Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 5–10 years in digital media asset management,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Digital Media, Library Science, or related field.
5–10 years in digital media asset management or metadata governance.
Proficiency with digital archiving systems and metadata tagging standards.
Experience implementing workflow systems for content approval routing.
Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance requirements.
Ability to produce analytics reports and implement event-based tracking.
Understanding of OPSEC review and DoD public release protocols.
Experience supporting multimedia-rich environments.

Responsibilities

Establish, build, and maintain a comprehensive Digital Asset Library and video cataloging.
Oversee metadata tagging, captions, and search indexing prior to content ingestion.
Implement standardized digital routing workflows through editorial, OPSEC, and PAO checks.
Implement analytics, event triggers, and API integrations to monitor engagement.
Design and optimize interactive multimedia interfaces across digital platforms.
Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
Other duties as assigned.
