Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Program Manager for the upcoming DTRA PAO contract in Fort Belvoir, VA. You will serve as the central point of contact for contract performance, overseeing all PWS requirements, deliverable schedules, and quality standards across public affairs, digital media, and multimedia production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5–10 years of progressive program/contract management experience, preferably supporting DoD or federal public affairs contracts.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (video production, digital media, web development) on federal contracts.
• Strong understanding of DoD Visual Information standards, Section 508 compliance, and OPSEC requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated POC for overall contract management and coordination.
• Interface with the Government Contracting Officer (KO) and COR.
• Provide program management oversight to ensure PWS requirements, deliverable schedules, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate across video production, digital asset management, web development, and media analysis teams.
• Oversee adherence to digital production standards, copyright compliance, and journalistic ethics.
• Monitor staffing, performance, and quality control, escalating risks as needed.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure technical accuracy and visual fidelity.
• Ensure OPSEC and PAO release checkpoints are respected.
