Job summary

Maui Jim seeks a Training Designer to design, develop, implement, and deliver training programs for the US Sales Force, Retail Partners, and Marketing, ensuring consistency in delivery and content. The role supports product launches and campaigns from a technical marketing and training perspective.

Essential duties include creating engaging training materials, facilitating sessions, and collaborating with SMEs to keep content current.

Qualifications

• Optical industry knowledge including eyewear products, lens options, dispensing processes, and customer care practices.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years of optical industry experience.
• 2+ years of training and development preferred; ABO Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training solutions for Maui Jim’s US Sales Force, Retail Partners and Marketing.
• Lead onboarding training programs and update materials with SME input.
• Coordinate seminars, workshops, webinars, and other training sessions.
• Manage training project plans, budgets, and schedules; liaise with vendors as needed.
