Technical Manager/Sr. Technical Manager - Wireless Program (Identify Job Number) (MediaTek USA Inc.; San Jose, CA):

• Work closely with development teams to define and implement radio frequency (RF), System hardware (HW), and driver/firmware (FW) domains.
• Drive project plans for development of test procedures, plans and reports. Drive cross-functional teams for failure/root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective measures.
• Communicate Engineering Status and corrective actions to technical staff and executives concisely.
• Deal with rapidly changing environment requiring efficient and timely decision making. Set technical strategy, execute on schedule for on time mass production (MP), and manage issues.
• Lead and develop new processes and ideas while serving as point of contact (POC) for both internal teams and customers.

Main Requirements and Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience Requirements: Seven (7) years of experience as a Technical Manager, Program Manager, or related occupation.
• Skills Requirements:
• 1. Project/Product Management, Project management software, including JIRA and Microsoft Project;
• 2. Wi-Fi technologies and standards, including IEEE 802.11 and a/b/g/n/ac/ax, and regulatory requirements, including FCC and ETSI;
• 3. Bluetooth 5/6 Protocol including low energy audio applications; and
• Salary range : $180,000.00 to $200,000 per year
• Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
