Carlisle Brake & Friction is seeking a Furnace Operator for the 2nd and 3rd shifts to operate furnace equipment with required training. You will review equipment at shift start, adjust parameters per the router, perform quality checks, and maintain detailed records while ensuring material readiness and safe operation.

You must be able to work mandatory overtime and weekend shifts, demonstrate strong attention to paperwork, and communicate effectively with supervision across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Operate equipment requiring specialized training and make complex machine adjustments as needed.
• Review equipment at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Ensure needed materials are ready and notify supervision of shortages.
• Adjust equipment parameters as stated in the router.
• Operate equipment as stated in the router.
• Perform quality checks per control plan.
• Complete hour by hour boards with documentation of issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor equipment to ensure optimum running and notify supervision of issues.
• Maintain and clean equipment before and after each shift.
• Complete operator specific preventative maintenance procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Operates equipment that requires specialized training due to mechanical or technical skills that must be learned. May require significant operator interaction to perform set-ups, monitor equipment and make decisions that require complex machine adjustments.

Positions Available: One (1) Furnace Operator Position on 2nd and 3rd Shift

• Must meet all requirements of a GMO
• Use of overhead cranes
• Perform operations in a safe manner.
• Review equipment at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Ensure needed materials are ready and notify supervision of shortages.
