Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit area is seeking a Technical Leader for the Hemodialysis unit at Detroit Northwest Lahser. You will work 40 hours per week to keep dialysis care running smoothly.

You will partner with the Medical Director, Administrative Manager, and Nurse Manager to orchestrate technical excellence, owning preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring peak equipment performance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Two years dialysis experience required.
• Requires 1) Associate's degree in science or LPN license. Current dialysis technician certification or LPN license in Michigan OR 2) Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical excellence of the dialysis unit, from preventive maintenance to innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure uptime and reliability for patients and staff.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Two years dialysis experience required. Requires 1) Minimum of associate's degree in science or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree. Current certification as dialysis technician or current LPN license in the state of Michigan OR 2) Associates degree in electronics/biomedical technology, or two years equivalent experience, to include military, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or industry recognized technical training program; proven mechanical aptitude and analytical skills for understanding electronic circuitry and for trouble-shooting biomedical/electronic equipment; and proven use of basic electronic testing equipment. Completion of a B.M.E.T. internship is preferred.
