Accountabilities

Requirements

6+ years of backend development experience, including at least 4 years in a technical leadership or lead engineering role.

Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and backend frameworks such as NestJS or Express.js.

Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization.

Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, along with containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Solid understanding of event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and asynchronous processing; experience with technologies such as Apache Kafka is an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools and workflows into software development to improve speed, efficiency, and quality.

Experience leading or mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, establishing technical standards, and setting engineering direction.

Good understanding of frontend concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with frontend engineers.

Strong knowledge of software security, testing strategies, observability, reliability, and performance optimization.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions across functions.
