Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Technical Lead for US Naval - Controls and Electrical to guide a controls engineering team and deliver robust, on-time solutions for US Naval programs. You will report to the Chief Engineer and oversee project baselines, risk, and cross-functional collaboration across ET&S, PM, and other functions.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in engineering with relevant domain expertise, and US citizenship or permanent residency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Master's degree in Engineering adds eligibility.
• JD/PhD in Engineering qualifies for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of controls engineers in support of US Naval engineering objectives.
• Translate customer technical requirements into ET&S work packages and manage schedule, budget and risk.
• Ensure robust verification, certification, and qualification strategies for US Naval programs.
• Line-manage the team in alignment with divisional policies and performance management.
