This role involves ensuring compliance for aviation systems through design changes, simulations, and testing. Thales India Engineering Competency Center (ECC) in Bangalore seeks a Solution Engineer for MCO equipment, to join the MCO engineering team.
This role involves engineering activities to demonstrate compliance and functionalities of equipment in response to design changes, maintaining form-fit-functionalities. Responsibilities include establishing impact analysis, performing simulation, analysis, and verification activities.
Context of Design in MCO activities for FLX Cockpit and Computers:
After initial certification, equipment undergoes design changes during serial production and support phases, mainly due to obsolescence, corrections for critical PRs, or enhancements. These changes range from minor component updates to significant redesigns requiring re-assessment of safety, qualification, and certification data, all subject to customer approval before release.
Our equipment includes Computers such as Flight Control, Flight Management, Display, Interactivity Control Panel, and Head-up Display, focusing on hardware changes like electronics and packaging.
Equipment engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant aeronautic experience. Higher qualifications like a postgraduate degree are desirable. Experience in civil avionics design is preferred.
