Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead/Solutions Architect with hands-on experience in designing and enhancing technical architecture in a cloud environment, specifically utilizing AWS. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain microservices architecture using open-source Java technology in an agile software development environment. Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and implementing complex software systems on virtualized cloud platforms, and developing and deploying microservices in alignment with project requirements. The role involves applying DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube, and JMeter to streamline and automate deployment processes. The candidate will deliver high-quality agile software solutions, incorporating best practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Adaptable Software Design, and leverage knowledge of technical environments related toSAM.gov orFPDS.gov domains to ensure project scope requirements are met.

• Develop and maintain microservices architecture using open-source Java technology in an agile software development environment.
• Architect, design, and implement complex software systems on a virtualized cloud platform, such as AWS.
• Develop and deploy microservices in the cloud, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives.
• Apply DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, SonarQube, and JMeter to streamline and automate deployment processes.
• Deliver high-quality agile software solutions, incorporating best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Adaptable Software Design.

Skills Required:

• Candidate must be willing to obtain Public Trust Clearance
• AWS certified architect with minimum of 5 years hands on experience in developing and enhancing technical architecture using Cloud environment.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in agile software development to include Microservices architecture using open source Java technology.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with designing and developing complex software systems on a virtualized cloud environment such as Amazon AWS.
• Formal training such as a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and deploying microservices in a cloud environment .
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in DevOps and CI/CD concept using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, and testing tools such SonarQube, JMeter.
• Demonstrated experience delivering agile software solutions using best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Adaptable Software Design.
