Solutions Engineer/Architect (Proposals)

Pay From: $175,000/ yr
MUST:
- Experienced Proposal Solutions Architect/Engineer
- 10+ years of hands-on technical experience creating and designing technical solutions
- Strong and broad technical knowledge base including all layers of an IT Stack
- Ability to create well-written, compliant, and compelling proposal content in a timely manner
- Ability to lead projects/proposals and provide technical oversight to ensure alignment with strategic goals & objectives
- Proven success in creating winning solutions
- Strong exposure to AWS Cloud solutions/Architecture
- Knowledge of Information Assurance processes, RMF, and Zero Trust in the DoD and Federal sectors
- Expertise in at least 3 of the following areas (listed in order of preference): Server and Virtualization O&M; Data center consolidation; Infrastructure Automation; Cloud migration; Information Assurance; IT transformation or modernization; Network architecture; Large-scale Project Management; Cloud Native Computing; Legacy application migration to COTS applications
- Experience with automation infrastructure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present technical themes to non-technical audiences
- Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS, Azure, SAFe, or ITIL
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
DUTIES:
- Collaborate with a specialized team in an innovation lab to solve problems and create solutions for clients in the Federal and DoD sectors
- Be a technology enthusiast who enjoys solving technical problems, learning, and researching technology solutions
- Provide solution engineering/architecture experience in developing cloud and automation solutions
- Oversee all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including planning, execution, and quality assurance
- Assist in creating proof of concept projects and solutions
- Work with leadership to resolve issues and meet project goals
- Contribute to strategies for IT project leadership and other areas
- Perform system administration checks and manage infrastructure tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Github, Terraform)
- Ensure integration of IT project components to achieve business goals
- Follow procedures and help define standards
- Perform pre-sales activities for federal government clients, including product demos
- Assist client teams with designing and developing technical solutions
- Author proposal solutions, technical white papers, and documentation
