Litera is seeking a Tech Lead, Engineering in a hybrid Denver, CO role. You will translate product vision into scalable, AI‑powered software, guiding architecture and hands‑on development. Lead initiatives, elevate quality, and mentor teams to deliver market‑leading legal tech solutions.

You’ll work closely with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and Quality Engineering to enable fast, reliable delivery while advancing innovation and operational maturity in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with full‑stack background.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js; strong frontend skills.
• Backend experience with .NET or Laravel and cloud architectures (AWS).
• Proven track record leading technical projects and contributing to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of scalable cloud-native software aligned with product strategy.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices in architecture and testing.

This is a hybrid role based in Denver, CO with the expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

What You’ll Bring

Must‑Haves:

• 6+ years of software development experience with a strong full‑stack engineering background.
• Strong front‑end experience building modern web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Deep expertise in at least one backend technology stack, such as .NET or Laravel.
• Proven experience leading technical projects/initiatives while remaining an active contributor to software delivery.
• Experience designing and scaling cloud‑native applications and distributed systems in AWS environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working in globally distributed teams and leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or other production‑scale data platforms.
