Charles River Analytics, a GRVTY company, is seeking a Technical Lead to mentor a high‑performing engineering team focused on user experience and interactive visualizations. Hybrid work model with 60% onsite in Cambridge, MA; U.S. Citizenship required and DoD experience preferred.

The role oversees requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment across frontend, backend, and cloud components, while building strong customer partnerships and contributing to proposals.

Qualifications

• Hybrid work model (60% onsite) in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with full lifecycle exposure; DoD experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for customer briefings and integration/test events.
• Experience leading test and evaluation events.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Experience managing multi‑perfomer teams on large‑scale integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership through mentoring, code reviews, technology selection, architecture definition, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators to define and prioritize technical requirements, track them in GitLab, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle: requirements management, development, merge requests, testing, and deployment.
• Architect scalable, robust software systems that meet customer and program needs.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers and external partners.
• Develop responsive user‑facing applications using JavaScript, Unity, or other relevant frameworks.
• Lead technical components of proposals for new research and development programs.
