Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Principal RF Design Engineer to lead RF/analog design for satellite communications in Clearwater, FL. You will guide engineering teams, drive multi-band RF component development, and integrate with digital control electronics for GEO/MEO/LEO terminals.

The candidate will have deep experience above X band, strong RF layouts, filters, converters, and antennas, with a relocation package and performance bonus available.

Qualifications

• Design experience for RF hardware above X band.
• Strong RF PCB layout, grounding and shielding for high-frequency performance.
• Experience in SATCOM, defense electronics, or high-frequency RF systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF and analog design activities for SATCOM hardware (filters, converters, PLLs).
• Develop and optimize RF layouts and prototypes for manufacturability and compliance.
• Translate system requirements into detailed RF hardware specs for transceivers and antennas.
• Provide technical leadership: review designs, troubleshoot issues, guide teams.
• Perform link-budget analysis for GEO, MEO, LEO terminals across X/Ku/Ka bands.
