This role will lead technical initiatives for alternative and next-generation raw materials in our plastics compounding businesses. The position includes managing a small team, ensuring projects enhance cost, supply security, and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in polymers and have a strong record of project and people leadership. You will partner with multiple departments to achieve business results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in plastics, polymers, or chemical manufacturing.
• Prior leadership experience in projects or technical teams.
• Experience with raw material management or a related function.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical project pipelines for raw material evaluation.
• Manage raw material qualification projects hands-on.
• Develop protocols for raw material evaluation and documentation.
• Collaborate with various departments to meet regulatory standards.
• Oversee laboratory testing and validate data quality.
• Identify alternatives to reduce supply risk and improve quality.
• Stay updated on new material technologies and methodologies.
