Qualifications

• Proven track record as Power Platform Architect or Tech Lead with hands-on design experience.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead and Power Platform Architect for a 6-month contract position (with possible extension) in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to lead solution architecture and modernization initiatives across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The position requires 4 days per week onsite from day one, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated in the near term.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on Power Platform implementations
• Establish and enforce development standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for Power Platform solutions
• Design and implement Copilot Studio and Azure AI service integrations to enable AI-powered solutions
• Architect and oversee Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementations to modernize business processes
• Translate business requirements and stakeholder needs into scalable, enterprise-grade technical solutions
• Manage integrations between Power Platform services and Azure-based infrastructure
• Establish security protocols, compliance standards, and application lifecycle management practices
• Guide teams on operational efficiency improvements and process modernization initiatives

Qualifications

• Required
  • Proven experience as a Power Platform Architect or Technical Lead with hands-on architecture expertise
  • Strong background in software development and enterprise solution design

  • Demonstrated experience with Copilot Studio and Azure AI service integrations
  • Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies and implementations

  • Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with business stakeholders
