Job summary

Tarana Wireless Inc is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead, Network Software Development to guide architecture and hands-on development of our fixed wireless network stack. You will drive data and control plane, security, and remote management across telecom-grade systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.

The role requires deep networking expertise, C/C++ proficiency, and extensive telecom/embedded software background, with ownership of integration across cloud and on-prem components.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering with 12+ years in software development.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with ability to drive issues to closure.
• Telecom/embedded software development experience for carrier or enterprise products is a plus.
• Packet forwarding, routing, bridging, switching, VLANs, ethernet services.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and Internet architecture.
• UNIX-style operating systems, IPC, multi-threading.
• C/C++ socket, network, and systems programming.
• Network/cloud management systems and configuration/provisioning/administration (SNMP, Yang Models, NetConf, LDAP, HTTP, OpenFlow, TR-69).
• Authentication, security, encapsulation and tunneling technologies (IPSec, CAPWAP, 802.1x).
• Experience using AI-agents in the software lifecycle.
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and develop the network stack including data plane, control plane, security and remote/cloud management.
• Develop network services for point-to-multipoint wireless access systems and manage device interfacing.
• Build scalable network/cloud management and provisioning frameworks.
