Job summary
Manpower Group (USA) seeks an Engineering Manager- Extrusion to act as the technical authority for a medical extrusion operation in Minnesota. This hands-on leadership role focuses on technology, process development, and customer programs from conception to commercialization.
The candidate will lead one extrusion engineer, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process validation, DOE studies, and NPI initiatives within a regulated environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Direct extrusion process experience required; hands-on.
- Experience with OQ/PQ in regulated environments.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead through technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the site's technical SME for medical extrusion.
- Lead process development, optimization, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Develop and execute DOE studies and process characterization.
- Lead and support process validation activities (OQ and PQ).
- Drive NPI projects from development to production launch.
- Interface with customers to support technical discussions and projects.
- Mentor one extrusion engineer and provide technical oversight.
