Job summary

Amentum's Mangrove team in Hanover, MD seeks a technical lead with enterprise web application experience to guide a small team through the full software development lifecycle. You’ll capture requirements, plan sprints, review code, design and test features, and ensure timely LMS releases in a secure environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Redux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud/on-prem deployments, plus a track record mentoring juniors

Qualifications

• Thirteen or more years of software development experience with UX/UI design and development.
• Experience with Python, shell scripting, Go, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like React/Redux.
• Containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes; on-prem and cloud environments.
• Experience leading agile development and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Capture and evaluate requirements from multiple customer bases and plan sprints/releases.
• Review merge requests for coding standards and completeness; implement new features.
• Design, test, and deploy features; ensure LMS release schedules are met.
• Lead development activities and mentor junior team members.
