Job summary

Roche is seeking a Technical Lead in Group Communications Engineering to act as the technical authority for our communication platforms and digital solutions. You’ll bridge business priorities with technical delivery, guiding product owners and solution architects to translate strategy into scalable digital outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage delivery dependencies, and ensure roadmap execution while aligning with global goals and affiliate needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading technical teams.
Proven track record delivering and scaling enterprise SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

Content Leadership: act as technical lead for delivery teams and strategic initiatives.
Accountability: own multiple workstreams, anticipate issues, and drive improvements.
Stakeholder Management: communicate complex ideas and align across business units.
Strategy: connect across RDT functions to anticipate needs and solve strategic challenges.
Business/Technical: advocate technology and scale piloted solutions.
