Elastic is seeking a Technical Lead to drive front and back end development and infrastructure of our flagship website, Elastic.co. You’ll lead a distributed team of designers and engineers to deliver scalable interfaces, data integrations, and reliable web services.

You will champion frontend and backend best practices, ensure accessibility, and push performance optimizations. This role emphasizes collaboration across teams and effective remote communication within a distributed workforce.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in front and backend web development with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• 3+ years as a senior technical contributor or technical lead.
• Deep expertise in NextJS, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with content management systems and headless CMS architectures.
• Strong frontend testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Frontend accessibility standards knowledge.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Knowledge of search technologies and data indexing and retrieval systems.
• Web performance optimization techniques and metrics.
• Ability to bridge design and development teams.
• Excellent remote communication skills with distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with a remote team of frontend and full stack engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Drive the technical vision for frontend architecture using NextJS and TypeScript.
• Drive the technical vision for backend services, data integration pipelines, and CMS.
• Lead API design for dynamic web experiences.
• Establish and maintain quality standards, testing, and code review practices.
• Champion backend performance, monitoring, and observability.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability across all backend services.
• Lead frontend performance optimizations and best practices.
• Ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility across web experiences.
• Contribute to technical planning and prioritize initiatives.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Partner with SRE and infrastructure teams for seamless integration.
• Foster effective communication in a distributed-first environment.
