Job summary

Module X Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Technical Lead on the second shift (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM) at our Shreveport fabrication facility. This hands-on leadership role bridges frontline execution and supervision, combining strong technical expertise with day-to-day team coordination. You will mentor operators, enforce safety and quality standards, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with engineers and supervisors.

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM. You will attend orientation at the normal start time then the following day you will com in at your schedule of 2:30PM. While working on the 2nd shift, a $2.00/hour shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Lead is a hands-on working lead. This role bridges the gap between frontline execution and departmental supervision, offering strong technical expertise, day-to-day leadership, and task coordination within their assigned area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the tools, equipment, and processes of their department, and capable of training others, resolving production issues, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and company procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience:

• Serve as the primary resource for team members; provide troubleshooting support, guidance, and mentorship.
• Ensure team adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Assist in training and onboarding new employees; reinforce skill development across the team.
• Communication needs to supervisors.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the work area (5S practices encouraged).
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and cross-functional teams regarding workflow, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and elevate equipment issues, process inefficiencies, or personnel concerns to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Proven hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment within the relevant department.
• Advanced understanding of department‑specific tools, materials, and processes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
